Matt Sand White is the lightest version of the Vogue Motion: a sandy off-white that makes the frame look open and light. On a bike with a hidden battery and belt drive, this creates an appearance that feels more classic than technical. This version has a step-through frame measuring 50 centimetres. What a low-step frame gives you

The trade-off is that a step-through frame is slightly less rigid than a closed frame, which you may notice at high speed and with a heavy load.

Automatic gearing and Gates belt

The Bafang H700 dual-speed hub automatically shifts between two gears based on your speed. You feel it as a brief moment when pedalling becomes easier; otherwise, you do not need to do anything. In city traffic with many traffic lights, it prevents you from setting off in too high a gear. The Gates belt replaces the chain and does not need to be lubricated, does not rust, and keeps your clothes clean, even after a rainy week.

Battery in the frame

The 360-watt-hour battery is fully integrated into the frame, making the Motion barely look like an electric bike and less noticeable in a storage area. The downside is that you have to bring the bike to a power socket instead of taking the battery with you separately. Three hundred and sixty watt-hours is modest: the stated range of 90 kilometres applies to the lowest assistance setting on flat terrain, so in practice, expect fifty to sixty kilometres. The stated range is always a test figure, so expect somewhat less in practice. Do not leave the battery outside in freezing temperatures; this will help preserve its capacity over time.

Suspension seatpost and Tektro brakes

It has a suspension seatpost instead of a suspension fork. It weighs less and dampens vibrations exactly where your weight rests, which eases the strain on your lower back on cobblestone streets; your wrists feel less impact too. The hydraulic disc brakes are made by Tektro, known for sports bikes: precise modulation and no loss of braking power in the rain. The rear rack is MIK-compatible, so you can attach bags and baskets with a single click. Hydraulic brakes need bleeding occasionally, but otherwise require little maintenance. The lights are permanently mounted on the bike and run on the main battery.

Who is the Vogue Motion for?

For commuters who want a lightweight, low-maintenance bike in a soft color that does not stand out as an e-bike. At 24 kilograms, it is light for a bike with 28-inch wheels. The recommended rider height is approximately 1.70 to 2.05 meters. Two points to consider: 360 watt-hours is limited for long daily distances, and light-colored paint shows road dirt sooner than a dark finish, especially if you store the bike outdoors. Consider where you will store the bike, as that often matters more than the specifications. For commuting within built-up areas, this equipment is more than sufficient.
