A fatbike that folds

There is suspension at the front to absorb curbs and speed bumps. The rear is unsuspended, a logical choice for a folding frame because a suspension rear triangle would weaken the hinge. The display shows speed, assist level, and battery level, and unlocking is done with an NFC card instead of a key. Check the brake lever reach when it is delivered; you can adjust it in a few seconds. Brake pads and discs use standard sizes, so they can be replaced at any service center. With the built-in turn signals, you can indicate your direction without taking your hand off the handlebars.

Low step-through on a fatbike

A low step-through is unusual on fatbikes, and even more so when combined with a folding frame. You step right through the frame, which is useful with luggage on the rear or when wearing a long coat. This makes the Q11 more accessible than most models with wide tires, including for those who would rather not lift their leg high. Seven gears are more than enough for flat terrain, and the lighting is permanently mounted on the bike.

Who is this version for?

For anyone who wants a fatbike that can be stored compactly and who would rather not ride the umpteenth dark frame. The recommended rider height is approximately 1.50 to 1.95 metres. Keep two things in mind: 43 kilograms is heavy, and a stated range of 50 kilometres is short. Light-coloured paint also shows road dirt more quickly, which is more noticeable on a bike that is slid into a shed or car boot than on a dark version. Anyone who rides it daily will notice such choices sooner than someone who occasionally takes it for a spin. Consider where you will store the bike, as that often matters more than the specifications.
