The Ultra has an alarm and NFC locking instead of a conventional ignition lock. You start it with a card, so there’s no key to lose and no lock to force. The alarm responds when someone touches the bike while it is locked. It won’t stop someone who is genuinely determined, but it makes rolling the bike away from a busy bike rack much less appealing. Brakes, suspension and tires

With 40 kilos plus two people on board, hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear are not an option but a necessity. The frame suits riders approximately 1.50 to 1.95 meters tall. The step-over is high, so you have to swing your leg over the frame, which is more difficult with two people than on a step-through model. At 40 kilos, you will want to store it on the ground floor. If you are looking for a fat bike to ride alone and keep as light as possible, the Ultra is overbuilt for your needs, and a standard V8 is a better fit.
