Riding alone and at a leisurely pace will take you farther, while riding together in the highest assist mode will give you less range. A full charge takes five to seven hours, so you can do that overnight. The battery is removable and can be taken indoors if your bike is stored in a shed without a power outlet. In winter, it is better to charge it indoors anyway.

Brakes, suspension and security

Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, full suspension and 20x4-inch tires. This combination lets you brake with this much weight without having to use your entire hand, while bumps and tram tracks will not make your handlebars vibrate. The Ultra also has an alarm and starts with an NFC card instead of a key. No key to lose and no ignition lock to force. Seven gears are more than enough for flat terrain in the Netherlands.

Who is this version for?

For anyone who wants the V8 Ultra but finds the standard all-black design a little bare. In terms of dimensions, the same applies as to the other versions: suitable for heights of approximately 1.50 to 1.95 meters, with a high step-through and a weight of 40 kilos. The latter means storing it on the ground floor. If you are sensitive to stains on a saddle or always leave your bike outside without a cover, choose the fully black version. If you mainly ride within built-up areas and regularly take someone with you, this model is a great fit.
